Lysol developed 2-in-1, a new sub-line of disinfectant spray products, to compete in the air care segment. It was critical the package design reinforce the brand’s disinfection and odor elimination heritage while also introducing scent communication. Given the duality of benefits, LAM’s packaging solution struck a balance between efficacy and fragrance by visually dividing the label into two portions. The new 2-in-1 sub-brand identity both anchors communication and serves as the device to effectively split the label into two. The new line was accepted by Walmart and prominently featured in their air care aisle, a big win for the Lysol brand!
