MiO is entering a new space, powdered beverages, designed to appeal to teens and their parents who are looking for enhanced benefits (e.g., protein, energy and vitamins). While MiO is best known for its liquid concentrate bottles, the new powdered beverages are sold in cartons. LAM’s design solution uses the iconic M logo to differentiate each product and abstractly convey key benefits. To deliver a cool, modern feeling, our packaging uses a matte black finish for the background juxtaposed against a high gloss varnish for the fruit imagery, logo and flavor color bands.
